To get the most out of your SogilityGO Lights and the SogilityGO App, it is important to use a compatible device and keep your software and firmware updated. This guide explains which devices work best, how updates are delivered, and how to check for the latest versions.

Device Compatibility:

  • The SogilityGO App works on most modern iOS and Android devices.

iPhone

  • Compatible with iPhone models running the latest iOS version
  • Bluetooth required for pairing and controlling SogilityGO Lights

Android

  • Compatible with Android devices running current and stable Android OS versions
  • Performance may vary on older devices with limited processing power
  • Bluetooth required for pairing and controlling SogilityGO Lights

General requirements

  • An active internet connection
  • Bluetooth enabled
  • Sufficient storage space for app updates and device data

App Software Updates:

Updating the SogilityGO App ensures you get the latest drills, performance improvements, and bug fixes.

How to update:

  • Open the App Store or Google Play
  • Search for SogilityGO
  • Tap Update if an update is available

Automatic updates

Enable automatic updates in your device settings to keep the app current without needing to check manually.

Firmware Updates for SogilityGO Lights:

Firmware updates improve connectivity, sensor responsiveness, and overall performance of your SogilityGO Impact and Motion Lights.

How firmware updates work:

  • When a firmware update is available, the SogilityGO App will notify you
  • Follow the on screen instructions to begin the update
  • Keep the lights near your device during the update
  • Do not close the app or turn off Bluetooth until the update is complete

Checking firmware version

  • Open the SogilityGO App
  • Go to More
  • Tap Diagnostics or Light Status
  • Review the firmware version listed for each connected light

Troubleshooting update issues:

If a firmware update fails:

  • Restart the SogilityGO App
  • Restart your phone
  • Reset your SogilityGO Lights
  • Try the update again

If the problem continues, send diagnostics and email support@sogilitygo.com

Keeping Your System Running Smoothly:

  • Update your app regularly
